Telemetry

GME Electrophone have developed a telemetry system based on ten tone selcall coding system that gives a reliable and simple means of monitoring and controlling remote sites. Water levels and flow can be checked, pumps turned on and off, alarm conditions can be reported.

Distant points can be monitored through radios configured to store and forward signals like a repeater. Systems can be set up on private radio channels or on selected UHF C.B. Channels that are licence free. The base control and monitoring system can be achieved by using software on a computer or by a simple control head attached to a telemetry radio.
